Work in Progress

The Miracle Project created a new musical called “Work in Progress” during the 2016-2017 season.

In 2017, The Miracle Project workshopped, rehearsed, and performed “Work in Progress” at The Wallis Annenberg Center for Performing Arts in Beverly Hills. The cast was comprised of individuals with and without disabilities who performed the play to five  audiences, including a performance for High School students with disabilities.

“Work in Progress” follows the lives of young adults as they transition out of high school into the workplace, discovering their passion, overcoming obstacles and finding their place in the world. It was inspired by and stars young adults with and without autism and other disabilities.

Testimonials

“This play impacts all abilities – the music, the story, the performers. Could be performed by anyone.” ~Audience Member

Well that was quite something! Still processing. And will be for a long time. What a wonderful morning my students and I had. I particularly loved the scene with the mothers and Kendall and Dylan. I wish we could have brought the entire school.

Thank you so much for arranging the tickets and giving us the amazing experience of THE MIRACLE PROJECT and WORK IN PROGRESS. I wish more people could see WORK IN PROGRESS. Everyone needs to see WORK IN PROGRESS.
Is there any talk of a touring company? Or a company that could go to schools for an outreach show. It just seems like the show must go on!!!!
I envy you and your wonderful ensemble so much that I plan to perhaps drop in for a dose of classes or volunteering. And most importantly, my students were inspired too.
Thank you again and again – next time I will not wait to the last minute to be first in line for their next project or to support WORK anyway I can.
