Miracle Project at Extreme Kids and Crew in Brooklyn
__________________________________________________________________
The Miracle Project in New York presents a 22-week drama workshop for special needs teenagers, their siblings, and friends. Aaron Feinstein and music therapist Gabriel Lit will help a group of special needs and neuro-typical teenagers envision, choreograph, and write their own show.
The workshop assumes a high level of commitment on the parts of families, both in terms of attendance and help with costumes, props, etc. In return, teens will get a very special opportunity to push themselves expressively and creatively, collaborate with their peers, discover the joy and madness of theater, and experience the thrill of performing.
The workshop will meet at Extreme Kids & Crew in the Trilok Fusion Arts Cetner in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. It will be held from 4:00-5:30 on Sunday afternoon starting in October. It will follow the DOE school calendar and end with a performance in early April.
